Bikers must follow the rules of the road
Vehicle drivers are increasingly met with signage that says, “Share the Road.” Most often this refers to sharing the road with bicyclists. Car drivers must be more conscientious while adapting to increasing bike traffic on the road, and bicyclists must learn how to safely navigate streets dominated by vehicle traffic. A safe driver or a safe bicyclist is someone who follows the rules of the road, but that requires knowing the rules.
