Atascadero trio lays down the law to Conq gridders

9/15/02 Bugg, Higbee and McMillan.

It's not a law firm, though the Atascadero trio did lay down the football law to Cabrillo Friday night.

Ryan Bugg caught three touchdown passes and rushed for another score to help Atascadero as the Greyhounds ran by the Conquistadores 41-0.

With Harrison Higbee doing the tossing, Bugg caught a 15-yarder for six points in the first quarter, a 16-yard scoring pass in the second and finished off a 52-yard TD pass-catch in the third.

Bugg, who wound up with four catches for 102 yards and 71 yards rushing in 12 carries, ran one in from the six in the second quarter.

Higbee was also on his game from start-to-finish, completing 9-of-16 tosses for 141 yards and four TDs without an interception.

Higbee's other TD pass was an 11-yarder to fullback Brandon McMillan in the first quarter.
