Board seeks comments on El Jaro Creek

The Cachuma Conservation Release Board (CCRB) is soliciting comments on the adequacy and completeness of the Negative Declaration for the Fish Passage Enhancement to El Jaro Creek, near the City of Lompoc. The Negative Declaration identifies and discusses potential and residual impacts for identified subject areas.

The project will have a less than significant impact or no impact on all environmental factors. A copy of the Negative Declaration and Initial Study may be obtained and all documents referenced in the Negative Declaration may be reviewed at the CCRB office, 3301 Laurel Canyon Road, Santa Barbara. Due to the non-complex nature of the project, a separate environmental hearing will not be held.

Public comments will be received by CCRB through May 25. Written comments must be received by CCRB on or prior to May 25, and should be addressed to Scott Engblom, Project Biologist, Cachuma Conservation Release Board, 3301 Laurel Canyon Road, Santa Barbara, 93105-2017. Comments may also be submitted by phone at 687-4011, by fax at 569-5825 or by e-mail at sengblom@cachuma-board.

org. CCRB will hold a regular meeting Monday, June 25, at its offices to discuss the proposed project.
