Coldwell Banker Select Realty in Lompoc was recently acquired by Tammy Atkin and Susan Gallacher both of Lompoc.

Coldwell Banker Realty has been in Lompoc for more than 20 years. Since the purchase in January, several additional agents have joined the office. In June, the office ranked No. 20 in the nation for gross commissions closed in its' class - up to 10 agents, Atkin said.

“We are seeing an increase in the amount of homes being sold in our area and in certain price ranges, multiple offers and prices stabilizing,” Atkin said. “The foreclosure issue that has impacted our market, while horrible for those who have lost their homes, has created an opportunity for home buyers as home affordability is at levels we have not seen in some time.”

Coldwell Banker Select will soon unveil the Coldwell Banker LeadRouter, which allows agents to respond to consumer e-mail inquiries within seconds, she said.
