An assistance center will be open to residents who lost their homes in the Tea Fire beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Davis Center at 1232 De la Vina St.
Santa Barbara County and city are jointly opening the center and will offer assistance in home rebuilding, water and sewer lines, housing assistance, insurance and counseling.
City and county departments and other agencies such as the Red Cross, the Housing Authority and the Santa Barbara Contractors Association will be participating from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
