National Day of Prayer observance planned

Lompoc Valley Ministerial Association will hold an observance of National Day of Prayer from 12:10 to 12:40 p.m. Thursday at Lompoc City Hall.

Various pastors will be participating.

Parade planning meeting set

The Lompoc Valley Festival Association is seeking individuals, organizations and churches interested in building or helping to build a float for the 2006 Flower Festival Parade, to attend an information meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the festival office, 414 W. Ocean Ave.
