Ribbers to kick off Olde Towne Market

The opening night of Olde Towne Market July 7 will feature the popular rib cook-off. Potential ribbers are encouraged to participate by contacting the Chamber of Commerce for an entry form, which can be picked up at 111 South I Street, or obtained by fax or e-mail. There is no fee to participate.

Car show planned next month

The Lompoc High School Alumni Association/s fourth annual &#8220Show and ShineC car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 8 at Ryon Park. Judging takes place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Awards will be presented in 26 categories.
