The Lompoc High School class of 1990 is looking for members for the 20-year class reunion planned to be held Flower Festival weekend, June 25 to 27.

Recognition apps now available
Applications are now available for the 2010 Beattie Park Recognition Grove held in conjunction with the annual Arbor Day celebration.
Application deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 1. The grove was designed as a location to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the Lompoc Valley.
The Lompoc Beautification and Appearance Commission, along with the Lompoc Parks and Recreation Commission, oversees the application process.

Cyberbullying forum to be held
The American Association of University Women's Lompoc-Vandenberg branch will host a panel discussion on "Cyberbullying: Dangers of the Internet Age" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19.
The discussion will be held at the Lompoc Library, 501 E. North Ave., in the Grossman Gallery.
Tonya Schultz, Ph.D., and other professionals will present current information and discuss recommendations for decreasing occurrences and the harmful impact of cyberbullying.
The program, free and open to the public, is appropriate for parents, educators and young adults.

'Big game' will be held Friday
The Lompoc vs. Cabrillo high school football game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Huyck Stadium.
The stadium is on Lompoc's campus at 515 W. College Ave. Tickets for the "big game" are $8 for general admission and students without ASB sticker, $5 for students with ASB sticker and $3 for children under 12, if accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are available in the Athletic and Activities offices at Lompoc and Cabrillo high schools, and at Rose's Embroidery, 126 North H St.
Tickets also will be available at the gate. Ticket booths and gates at Huyck Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. on game night.
City offices to close for Veterans Day
The following city of Lompoc offices will be closed in honor of Veterans Day on Wednesday: City Hall, City of Lompoc Transit (COLT), Lompoc/Vandenberg/Buellton libraries, Anderson Recreation Center, Lompoc Landfill and Refuse Collection. Collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
All offices will resume regular business hours Thursday.
