Collection set for obsolete electronics

How do you dispose of those old, clunky, computer monitors that you replaced with smaller, lighter, LCD flat panels but are still lying around taking up space?

Many people do not realize that those electronics are toxic and need to be disposed of properly. Computers, monitors, stereos, scanners, all contain hazardous substances that will harm and pollute our environment if added to the soil or any water source.

AL&S, Inc., specializing in asset liquidation and sales, has partnered with the largest electronic-waste recycling company in the world for an event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at 209 W. Central Ave. in Lompoc.

This event will allow you to dispose of your unwanted electronics for free. They will be properly dispose dof, and recycled in an environmentally-safe and ecologically friendly manner.

AL&S, Inc. is a Certified Electronic Waste Collector by the state of California. Call 805-617-0122 for more information.
