Cindy McCall is quoted to say approximate project costs to be around $300k with most work being provided by volunteers and donations. Coincidentally, the same ideas brought forward by Ms. McCall in 2003 are being "offered up" members of a local parks foundation.
Why is Cindy Mcall proposing another park when we are giving maintenance workers pink slips. No wonder the city budget is in such a mess. We have leaders that want to cut people from employment, then in the same breath, propose another park that we can neither afford or staff for maintenence. Maybe she should work on the school board, they don't seem to have any idea of budgetary measures either!
