The seventh annual Turducken Dinner fundraiser was held Saturday night at the Village Country Club. The black-tie affair included live music, area wine, gourmet food and a main course that literally is three birds in one. At left, Chef Mike puts the finishing touches to a side dish. City Councilman Tony Durham held a live auction, with all proceeds from the auction and the dinner going to the Vandenberg Village and Lompoc public libraries. Last year's dinner raised $18,000 for the libraries.
