Well, well, well. White conservative wonks, and that's not racist? Sounds like a double standard to me.
A recent letter writer assumes anyone making negative comments about the president is white. That's very narrow-minded of him. There are many people who do not care for what the president has and has not done, and I assure you they are not all white.
There will always be critics of presidents, whether white, black, yellow or brown, but that does not mean they are racist. There is an abundance of people making very negative comments about Sarah Palin and former President Bush, but no one is claiming racism on those statements. Should whites be claiming racism?
It's very sad how this community and country jump to racism just because someone makes a negative comment about the president.
Perhaps if Mr. Obama couldn't take the heat and negative comments, he shouldn't have run for the most ridiculed position in the United States - and that goes for anyone who plans on running for the presidency.
