A local letter writer is at it again, trying to sway others into has antipode beliefs.
Because he turned his back on America/s God does not mean he should continually antagonize the majority. Since we bother him so much, perhaps he would be happier living in another country that does not acknowledge God.
Anyone can check back into American history and find America was founded on God and His laws for our own well-being. Having built our nation on His principles is proof that they made us the top nation of the world.
However, if Americans continue to turn away from God, we cannot expect His blessings to remain on us. Too many Americans place too many gods before Him. Our national financial crisis, fire and weather disasters, global warming, etc., are examples of His withdrawal. He will not force Himself on us.
