To have a rec softball league, you must have pizza. For example, there/s the Lompoc Rec Pacific League, which has one team sponsored by Pizza Garden, another by Butler Bros. Pizza.
In this league 77 the Pacific 77 the competition is tough. Or, as they say in Italy, /Sometimes you eat the pizza. Sometimes it eats you./

Fast Eddie Breen had a homer, two singles and three RBI, Ron Morrison a slam, sac and five ribbies, Pat Thompson a triple, single and RBI, Todd Smith a triple and RBI and Bob Terrones was the winning pitcher for Pizza Garden.
Darrell "Not Mini-Me" McNamee had a homer, triple, single and three RBI, Kevin Drake, John Salter and Mike Escobedo each had a homer, double and two RBI, Hank Montoya a homer, single and two RBI for Your Place or Mine.
VAFB Hawks 18, Butler Bros. 12
Winning pitcher Jason "The Argonaut" Porter had a double, three singles and two RBI, Aaron Mendoza a homer, double and three RBI, Russ Deatherage and Dan McGahey a double, two singles and two RBI for the league-leading Vandenberg Air Force Base Hawks.
Chris "No Duh" Diaz had a homer, single and three RBI, Larry Jacinto Jr.. a double, single and five RBI, Shawn Leake two singles for Butler Bros. Pizza.

Anthony "Carburetor" Cazenave had a double and single, Richard Strange two singles and two RBI, Donnie Decker two singles and an RBI, Chad Godsil two singles for Culligan Water.

Terrible Tony Grossini had a triple, single and two RBI, Scott White a homer and double, Artie Martinez two singles and an RBI, Ralph Velasquez a single and RBI for Dal Pozzo Insurance.
