Big Game Tickets
Pre-sale tickets for the Big Game at Huyck Stadium on Friday, Nov. 13 will go on sale this Friday.
Tickets will be available at Rose's Embroidery, 726 North H St, during normal business hours, Tuesday through Friday - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
They will also be sold at the Cabrillo High School activities office and athletic office from 11 a.m. to noon and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the Vandenberg Middle School.
On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of next week, tickets will also be sold at the Lompoc High athletic office.
General admission tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and up, $5 for Lompoc students with ASB cards (pre-sale only) and $3 for children 12 and under.
Cabrillo JV Volleyball
The Cabrillo junior varsity girls volleyball will face Santa Ynez tonight for the league title.
The Conquistadores (10-1 LPL) takes on the Pirates, who have the identical league record.
Tuesday, Cabrillo won a thriller at Morro Bay in three games (22-25, 25-9, 15-12). Felicia Bowen closed out the match with five straight serves, which included three aces.
Cabrillo Soccer Car Wash
The 2009-2010 Cabrillo girls soccer team will be holding a preseason car wash this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The car wash will be held at Pommerville's Gas Station, 1001 North H St. at the corner of North Ave. Donations of any amount will be welcome.
The Lady Conqs will scrimmage Lompoc at Huyck Stadium on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. then open the season Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Pioneer Valley High in Santa Maria.
Fabing Bikes 4 Kids
The third annual Brice Fabing Bikes 4 Kids Fundraiser is underway in Lompoc.
New and used bikes and helmets will be donated to local agencies in need, including Domestic Violence, LOVARC and CAC families just in time for Christmas.
The Bikes 4 Kids refurbishing program has already begun. If there is a bike to be donated contact David Eccles at 835-1328. Anyone who would like to assist in the repairs, which will continue through Nov. 15, please call as well.
The new bike campaign begins Nov. 3. If you would like to donate a new bike and/or helmet call Dorine Fabing at 735-6350.
