For the second straight year the Cabrillo High girls soccer team will host a special game to benefit breast cancer awareness.
On Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Huyck Stadium, the Conquistadores will host Nipomo at Huyck Stadium. The junior varsity will play at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity at 6 p.m.
Admission to the game will be $5 and all proceeds will go to breast cancer research.
Last season senior Sammy Marquez organized the event as her senior project. The team decided to commit to the cause on a yearly basis. For more information go to the girls soccer Web site at www.cabrillosoccer.org
